Comparison review
The Xiaomi 12 Pro is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi 9T, having a 79.6 score against 78.2. Xiaomi 12 Pro's body is newer and somewhat thinner than the Xiaomi Redmi 9T's, but it is also just a bit heavier. Both of these phones work with Android operating system, but the Xiaomi 12 Pro has the newer 12 version and Xiaomi Redmi 9T has Android 10 version, providing the user a couple additional features and performance tweaks.
Xiaomi 12 Pro has a better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, because it has more pixels per display inch, a higher 1440 x 3200 resolution and a little bit larger screen. Xiaomi Redmi 9T counts with a much greater performance than Xiaomi 12 Pro, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
Xiaomi Redmi 9T counts with a quite bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Xiaomi 12 Pro, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 512 GB. Xiaomi 12 Pro features a better camera than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for capturing pictures or video in low-light situations, it also counts with a way larger camera sensor which offers a way better photo and video quality, a back camera with a better resolution and a lot higher video resolution.
Xiaomi Redmi 9T has longer battery life than Xiaomi 12 Pro, because it has a 30% greater battery size.
