Huawei Mate 20 is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G, getting a 79.5 score against 79.5. These devices have Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei Mate 20 has a newer 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G has Android 11. Despite of the fact that Huawei Mate 20 is notably older than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G, it's design is just a bit thinner and just a bit lighter.
Huawei Mate 20 features a little faster processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G. They have 4 GB of RAM and the same number of cores. Huawei Mate 20 counts with a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G, although it has a little lower 1080 x 2244 resolution and a just a bit less pixels per inch in the screen, they both have a screen of the same size.
The Huawei Mate 20 counts with a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G, because it has 128 GB internal memory capacity. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G has longer battery performance than Huawei Mate 20, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity. Huawei Mate 20 takes slightly better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G, although it has a tinier back-facing camera sensor giving a worse image quality and a back-facing camera with lot less mega-pixels, they both have a F1.8 aperture.

So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Huawei Mate 20, else you can save some dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G, giving up some specs and features.
