Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy M40 has a global score of 85, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G's overall score of 79.5. Even though Samsung Galaxy M40 is older than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G, it's design is lighter and thinner. Both phones in this comparison review include Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy M40 has 10 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G has Android 11.
Galaxy M40 features a screen that's just as good as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G one, because although the Galaxy M40 has a little bit smaller display and a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2340px, it also counts with a bit more pixels per screen inch. Samsung Galaxy M40 counts with a much better memory capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G, because it has 128 GB internal storage and a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 512 GB.
The Galaxy M40's CPU is very similar to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G one, and although the Galaxy M40 has a higher amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The Samsung Galaxy M40 captures much clearer videos and photos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G, because although it has a camera with a lot worse resolution and a way tinier back camera sensor taking much lower quality photos and videos, it also counts with a bigger aperture to take better photos in low light environments.
