Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a general score of 83, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G's global score of 79.5. Both of these devices come with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G has Android 11, so it gives a lot of extra features and performance tweaks. Despite of the fact the Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a lot older and just a little heavier than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G, it's body is still a little thinner.
The Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a little faster CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 also has 2 GB more RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with a bit sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better pixel count in each display inch and a higher 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution.
Galaxy Note8 counts with a way bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Note8 also has an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G counts with a superior battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has a 5000mAh battery size.
Although Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G. If you want to save some dollars, you can get Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your budget.
