Comparison review
The Xperia 1 III is much better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G, with a score of 93.3 against 79.5. These phones work with the same Android 11 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't see any difference in that aspect. Even though Xperia 1 III and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G were released with only a couple of months difference, Xperia 1 III is a little bit thinner and a little lighter.
The Xperia 1 III features a little faster processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xperia 1 III also has a higher amount of RAM. Sony Xperia 1 III counts with a sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G, and although they both have a same size screen, the Sony Xperia 1 III also has a lot higher pixel quantity per inch in the display and a lot higher 1644 x 3840 resolution.
Sony Xperia 1 III has a much greater memory capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G, because it has 192 GB more internal storage and an external memory card slot that supports up to 1 TB. Xperia 1 III has a better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G, because although it has a camera with much less mega pixels resolution, it also counts with a larger back camera sensor which gives a better photo and video quality and a bigger aperture to take better low-light captures and video.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G counts with just a little better battery life than Sony Xperia 1 III, because it has an 11% more battery size.
Although Xperia 1 III is a better device, it is way more expensive than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Xperia 1 III, else you can save some money and buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G, resigning a couple specifications.
