The Galaxy A40 is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, getting a global score of 79.6 against 78.3. The Galaxy A40 is an much older phone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, but Samsung was able to make it just a little thinner and much lighter anyway. Both devices in our current comparison work with the same Android 11 operating system, so you shouldn't see any differences regarding that.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 counts with a slightly better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has a just a little inferior pixel amount per inch in the display, it also counts with a slightly higher 1080 x 2400px resolution and a quite larger display. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 and the Samsung Galaxy A40 feature very similar storage to store more apps and games, both have a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 512 GB and the same 64 GB internal storage.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 has a bit better processing power than Galaxy A40. Both have a Octa-Core processor and the same RAM amount. Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 shoots slightly better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has a smaller aperture, it also counts with a camera with a lot better 48 megapixels resolution and a much larger back-facing camera sensor which provides a lot higher photo and video quality.
