Comparison review

The Galaxy Note 5 is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, with a overall score of 79.3 against 78.3. Galaxy Note 5 is an extremely older phone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, but Samsung was able to build it a little bit thinner and a little lighter anyway. These devices include Android OS, but the Galaxy Note 5 has older 5.1 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 has Android 11.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 counts with a little better performance than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 also has a larger number of cores (and they are faster). Galaxy Note 5 features a slightly better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a greater number of pixels per display inch.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 has a lot bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 512 GB. Galaxy Note 5 counts with a bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, although it has a much smaller back camera sensor capturing way lower quality videos and images, a camera in the back with much less mega pixels resolution and a smaller aperture.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 counts with a much longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because it has a 67% more battery capacity.

Although Galaxy Note 5 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Redmi Note 10. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Galaxy Note 5, else you can save some money and buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, giving up a couple features and specifications.
