Comparison review

The Galaxy Note8 has an overall score of 83, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10's global score of 78.3. These phones include Android OS, but Galaxy Note8 has newer 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 has Android 11, so it offers some nice extra features. Even being the best we compare here, Galaxy Note8's construction is a lot older, a little bit heavier and just a bit thicker than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 has a slightly better display than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a way worse 1080 x 2400 resolution and a little less pixels per inch of screen, it also counts with a quite larger display. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 counts with a bit bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Note8, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB.

The Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a little faster processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 features a way better battery lifetime than Galaxy Note8, because it has a 5000mAh battery size instead of 3300mAh.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 has a slightly better camera than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for capturing images or video in low-light environments, it also counts with a way bigger camera sensor providing a lot higher image quality and a lot more megapixels back-facing camera.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your money.
