Asus ROG Phone 8 has a global score of 79.5, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G's 77.1 general score. Despite being the best in this review, the Asus ROG Phone 8 is a heavier and just a bit thicker phone than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G. Both of these devices come with Android OS (Operating System), but Asus ROG Phone 8 has a newer 14 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G has Android 11 version, so it counts with a couple nice extra features and a performance increase.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 has a bit more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, because although it has a much lower resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a bit worse pixel number in each display inch, it also counts with a little larger display and a much brighter screen. The Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with just a bit bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with just a bit better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus ROG Phone 8 also has more RAM memory. Asus ROG Phone 8 has just a little better battery life than Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, because it has a 5500mAh battery size against 5000mAh.
Asus ROG Phone 8 captures clearer photographs and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, because although it has a lot worse 50 MP resolution back facing camera, and they both have a F1.9 aperture, the Asus ROG Phone 8 also counts with a way higher video quality.
