Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi 8, with an 86.1 score against 83.3. Both phones in this review have Android OS (Operating System), but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro has a newer 11 version and Xiaomi Mi 8 has Android 10 version, counting with lots of additional features and performance optimizations. Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro's body is heavier and just a little thicker than Xiaomi Mi 8.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 features a bit better CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro. They have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores. The Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro, although it has a way worse 1080 x 2248 resolution, a bit smaller screen and a bit less pixels per inch of display.
Xiaomi Mi 8 features a very superior storage for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro, because it has more internal memory capacity. Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro features a much better battery life than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has a 5160mAh battery capacity. Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro features a lot better camera than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for shooting photographs and/or video in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro also counts with a much more mega pixels camera in the back.
