Huawei Mate 20 has a global score of 79.5, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S's overall score of 73.9. Despite being the best in this review, the Huawei Mate 20 is a a little thicker and just a little bit heavier cellphone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S. These phones use Android OS, but the Huawei Mate 20 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S has Android 11, counting with a couple additional features.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S features a little more vivid display than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a greater pixel density, a little more display brightness and a much better 2080 x 2400 resolution. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S has a way bigger storage for games and applications than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB.
The Huawei Mate 20 counts with a much greater hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S. They have 4 GB of RAM memory and 8 cores. Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S takes clearer photographs and videos than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not good for shooting photographs in low-light environments and a lot tinier back-facing camera sensor shooting much worse quality videos and pictures, it also counts with a camera with a lot higher resolution.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S features better battery life than Huawei Mate 20, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
