The Motorola Moto G9 Play is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S, with a general score of 76.7 against 73.9. Both phones in this review use Android OS, but the Motorola Moto G9 Play has the previous 10 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S has Android 11 version. The Motorola Moto G9 Play body is somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker than Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S counts with a much better display than Motorola Moto G9 Play, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a much higher 2080 x 2400 resolution and a much greater pixel count per inch of display. The Moto G9 Play has a much greater hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S. Both of them have 8 cpu cores and 4 GB of RAM.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S features more storage to store more apps and games than Moto G9 Play, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 1 TB. Moto G9 Play features a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S, because although it has a lot less megapixels back camera, it also counts with a much larger sensor which gives a lot higher image and video quality and a larger diafragm aperture to take better photos and video in poorly lited environments.
Motorola Moto G9 Play's battery lifetime is very similar to the battery performance in Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S.
