Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has a score of 91.5, which is slightly better than Motorola Edge 50 Pro's global score of 86.3. Both devices in this review have Android OS (Operating System), but Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has the older 12 version while Motorola Edge 50 Pro has Android 14 version. Although it's the best in this comparison, we must note that it is also an older, heavier and a little bit thicker device.
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro has a little bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer, and although they both have the same exact resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a display of the same size and a higher count of pixels per inch in the display, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro also has a way brighter display.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer counts with a much more powerful processing unit than Motorola Edge 50 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has a much better camera than Motorola Edge 50 Pro, because although it has a tinier camera aperture, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor taking better quality videos and photographs and a way more mega-pixels camera in the back.
Motorola Edge 50 Pro has a much better storage for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer, because it has 512 GB internal storage. The Motorola Edge 50 Pro has just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer, because it has a 5 percent more battery size.
