Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has an overall score of 91.5, which is slightly better than the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra's 87.1 score. Even though the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer is better than the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, we must highlight that it's also an older, just a little bit thicker and a little bit heavier phone. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android operating system, but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has an older 12 version and Motorola Edge 50 Ultra has Android 14.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer features a very superior performance than Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra features a little bit better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer, and although they both have the same display density, a screen with the same size and the same resolution of 1080 x 2400px, the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra also has a lot brighter screen.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has a better camera than Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, because although it has a smaller camera sensor taking less light and dull colors, a tinier aperture which is not favorable for shooting photos or videos in poorly lited environments and lower video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer also counts with a lot more MP back facing camera.
The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra counts with much more storage for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer, because it has 512 GB internal memory. The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra has just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
