Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has a score of 91.5, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy M40's global score of 85. Both devices in this review include Android operating system, but Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has a more recent 12 version and Samsung Galaxy M40 has Android 10 version. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer's design is much newer, but somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker than the Samsung Galaxy M40.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has a little faster CPU than Galaxy M40, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer also has 2 GB more RAM. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has a little bit better display than Galaxy M40, because although it has a little worse pixels density, it also counts with a little bigger display and a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2400.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer counts with a lot better camera than Samsung Galaxy M40, and although they both have the same video definition, a same size camera aperture and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer also has a lot more MP back-facing camera and a much bigger sensor.
The Samsung Galaxy M40 counts with a slightly better memory to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
