The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has a general score of 91.5, which is much better than the Xiaomi 15's 80.6 general score. Both phones in this review include Android operating system, but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has 12 version while Xiaomi 15 has Android 14 version. Despite being the best phone we are comparing here, it must be noted that it's also an older, just a little thicker and just a bit heavier phone.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has a very superior processing unit than Xiaomi 15, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have 8 processing cores. The Xiaomi 15 counts with a sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a little higher resolution of 1200 x 2670 pixels, way more brightness and a just a bit more pixels per inch in the display.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer takes much clearer videos and photos than Xiaomi 15, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not good for capturing photographs and/or video in low light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same video frame rate, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer also counts with a back-facing camera with lot more MP.
Xiaomi 15's memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos is very similar to Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer's one, they have the same internal memory. The Xiaomi 15 has improved battery performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer, because it has a 26 percent more battery capacity.
