Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 8, having a global score of 91.5 against 83.3. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer design is extremely newer than Xiaomi Mi 8's, but it's heavier and thicker. Both devices in this comparison review come with Android OS, but Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has newer 12 version and Xiaomi Mi 8 has Android 10 version.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer features just a bit better screen than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has a bit worse pixels density, it also counts with a little higher 1080 x 2400 resolution, a brighter screen and a little bit larger display.
