Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has a global score of 91.5, which is much better than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2's 81.2 general score. Although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer is incredibly newer than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, it is somewhat thicker and heavier. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer features a little bit better looking display than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has a bit lower pixel density, it also counts with a little bit bigger screen and a slightly higher 1080 x 2400 resolution.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2's storage capacity for applications and games is very similar to Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer's one, both have exactly the same 256 GB internal memory capacity. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has a bit better CPU than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer also has a higher amount of RAM.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer counts with better battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer shoots greater pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer also has a bigger aperture, a lot bigger sensor which offers a way better photo and video quality and a back facing camera with much more mega pixels.
