Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer is a lot better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, having a overall score of 91.5 against 75.7. Despite being the best cellphone in this review, Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer's body is a little bit heavier and somewhat thicker than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro. These phones work with the same Android 12 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't notice any differences in that aspect.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer counts with a much greater performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer also has a greater amount of RAM memory. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer counts with a bit more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro. Both have the same display density, a display with the same size, the same 1080 x 2400 resolution and the same display brightness.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer shoots much better videos and photos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer also has a bigger camera aperture to capture better captures in low-light environments, a bigger sensor which gives a higher photo and video quality and a back facing camera with much more megapixels.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has a much greater storage to install games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, because it has 256 GB internal storage. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has better battery duration than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer, because it has a 16 percent greater battery size.
