Comparison review
The Asus ZenFone 8 Flip is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, with an 85.5 score against 75.7. Both devices in this review use Android operating system, but Asus ZenFone 8 Flip has older 11 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has Android 12 version. The Asus ZenFone 8 Flip is an older, somewhat heavier and thicker phone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro.
Asus ZenFone 8 Flip has an extremely better processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Asus ZenFone 8 Flip also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Asus ZenFone 8 Flip counts with a bit better display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, and although they both have the same amount of pixels in each inch in the display, a screen of the same size and the same 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, the Asus ZenFone 8 Flip also has a little more brightness.
Asus ZenFone 8 Flip shoots a little bit better photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, because although it has a smaller camera sensor which gives a lower photo and video quality, it also counts with a lot more megapixels back-facing camera, a way better 7680x4320 video resolution and a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better low-light images and video.
The Asus ZenFone 8 Flip counts with a lot bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Asus ZenFone 8 Flip also has an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 2 TB. Asus ZenFone 8 Flip's battery life is just as good as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro one.
