Comparison review

The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, with a general score of 77.4 against 75.7. Both of these phones work with Android OS (operating system), but Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has Android 12, giving a couple nice extra features and performance tweaks. Even though the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) is incredibly older and a little bit thicker than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, it's design is still just a little lighter.

Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) counts with a very superior processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro. They have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has a little sharper display than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), because although it has a little bit inferior pixels quantity per inch of display, it also counts with a little bigger display, a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2400 and much more brightness.

The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) features a lot bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) also has a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro shoots much better photos and videos than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for shooting pictures or video in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro also counts with a back camera with lot more MP and a lot larger sensor which provides a lot higher image and video quality.

The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2)'s battery performance is just as good as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro one.
