Comparison review
Huawei Mate 20 is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, having a score of 79.5 against 75.7. Both phones we are comparing use Android operating system, but Huawei Mate 20 has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has Android 12 version, giving a lot of extra features and performance tweaks. Even being the best device in this review, Huawei Mate 20's design is way older, just a bit thicker and a little heavier than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro.
Huawei Mate 20 counts with a screen that is very similar to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro one, although the Huawei Mate 20 has a little bit lower pixels density, a bit smaller display, a quite opaque screen and a little worse resolution of 1080 x 2244px. The Huawei Mate 20's memory to store more apps and games is just as good as Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro's one, they have exactly the same internal memory capacity.
The Huawei Mate 20 features an extremely better processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro counts with better battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 20, because it has a 25 percent more battery capacity.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro counts with a superior camera than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for shooting photos and video in low light environments, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro also counts with a much larger sensor capturing way better quality photos and videos and a camera with a lot better 50 megapixels resolution.
