Huawei Mate 20 lite is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, getting a 76.2 score against 75.7. Both phones in this review include Android operating system, but the Huawei Mate 20 lite has a newer 8.1 Oreo version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has Android 12 version, providing the user a couple additional features. Huawei Mate 20 lite is an older phone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, but it is a bit thinner and a little lighter anyway.
Huawei Mate 20 lite has a lot better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro features a bit more vivid display than Huawei Mate 20 lite, because although it has a quite lower screen pixel density, it also counts with a bit higher 1080 x 2400 resolution and a little bit bigger screen.
Huawei Mate 20 lite features a quite bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has improved battery duration than Huawei Mate 20 lite, because it has a 33 percent more battery capacity.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro shoots way better pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 20 lite, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for capturing pictures or videos in low light environments, it also counts with a back facing camera with lot more megapixels and a lot higher (4K) video resolution.
