Huawei Mate 9 Pro is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, with a 78.7 score against 75.7. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro is an extremely older device than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, but Huawei was able to make it just a little bit lighter and just a little thinner anyway. These phones have Android OS (operating system), but Huawei Mate 9 Pro has the newer 8.0 Oreo version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has Android 12, so it offers some nice extra features.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a much greater hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro. They have 6 GB of RAM memory and a Octa-Core processor. Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a display that's very similar to Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro's screen, because although the Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a greater number of pixels per inch of display and a better resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has a very superior camera than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro also has a bigger aperture for better low-light photography and video, a way larger sensor and a back-facing camera with a much better resolution.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro has as much storage capacity for applications and games as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro one, they have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro features longer battery life than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a 5000mAh battery size instead of 4000mAh.
