Comparison review
The Huawei P Smart (2020) has a global score of 77.5, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro's 75.7 global score. Although Huawei P Smart (2020) is much older and just a little thicker than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, it's body is still lighter. Both devices in this review include Android operating system, but Huawei P Smart (2020) has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has Android 12.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro features a bit sharper display than Huawei P Smart (2020), because although it has a little bit lower pixel density, it also counts with a little higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a quite larger display. Huawei P Smart (2020) counts with a much greater storage to install games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Huawei P Smart (2020) also has a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 512 GB.
Huawei P Smart (2020) features a much greater hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, although it has 2 GB lesser RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has a very superior battery duration than Huawei P Smart (2020), because it has a 5000mAh battery size.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro captures way better photos and videos than Huawei P Smart (2020), because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for capturing images and videos in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a much more mega pixels back-facing camera and a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
