The Huawei P smart S is slightly better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, with a overall score of 77.2 against 75.7. Huawei P smart S's body has the same thickness than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, but it is somewhat lighter. Both phones in this review include Android OS, but the Huawei P smart S has older 10 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has Android 12 version.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro features just a bit better screen than Huawei P smart S, because although it has a little worse pixels number per inch in the screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro also counts with a little bigger display. The Huawei P smart S features an extremely better processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
Huawei P smart S counts with much more memory for apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Huawei P smart S also has a SD extension slot that admits up to 256 GB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro features a lot better camera than Huawei P smart S, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for capturing photos and videos in low light environments, it also counts with a higher resolution camera.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro features greater battery lifetime than Huawei P smart S, because it has a 25% larger battery capacity.
