Comparison review
Huawei P20 Lite (2019) has a general score of 76.5, which is slightly better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro's global score of 75.7. These phones come with Android OS (operating system), but Huawei P20 Lite (2019) has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has Android 12 version, so it provides the user a couple nice extra features and performance improvements. The Huawei P20 Lite (2019) body is a bit lighter than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, but it's just a bit thicker and was released many years before.
The Huawei P20 Lite (2019) has a much greater performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, although it has 2 GB less RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro counts with a slightly better looking display than Huawei P20 Lite (2019), because although it has a just a bit lower quantity of pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a bit larger screen.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro takes much better photographs and videos than Huawei P20 Lite (2019), because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for low-light captures and video, it also counts with a way higher resolution camera and a much better (4K) video quality. Huawei P20 Lite (2019) features a much better storage for apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Huawei P20 Lite (2019) also has a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 256 GB.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has greater battery duration than Huawei P20 Lite (2019), because it has a 25 percent bigger battery size.
