Comparison review
The Huawei P40 is better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, having a score of 86.4 against 75.7. Both phones in this comparison work with Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei P40 has older 10 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has Android 12 version. Huawei P40 is a notably older and just a little thicker cellphone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, but Huawei managed to build it just a bit lighter anyway.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro features a little more vivid display than Huawei P40, because although it has a bit lower pixel number per inch in the display, it also counts with a little larger display and a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px. Huawei P40's storage capacity to install games and applications is just as good as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro one, both of them have the same 128 GB internal memory.
The Huawei P40 features a really superior hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro. They have 6 GB of RAM and the same number of cores. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro counts with longer battery lifetime than Huawei P40, because it has a 32 percent bigger battery size. Huawei P40 takes a little bit better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, and although they both have a F1.9 camera aperture, the same (4K) video resolution and a same resolution back facing camera, the Huawei P40 also has a bigger back-facing camera sensor shooting higher quality videos and photos and better 60 frames per second video frame rate.
