Comparison review
The Huawei P40 Lite is a little bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, getting a global score of 79.5 against 75.7. Both devices we compare here include Android OS (operating system), but Huawei P40 Lite has older 10 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has Android 12 version. The Huawei P40 Lite construction is just a little bit lighter than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, although it's just a little bit thicker and was released many years before.
The Huawei P40 Lite features a lot better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro. They have the same RAM amount and the same number of cores. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has just a bit better looking screen than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has a just a bit inferior pixels quantity in each inch of display, it also counts with a bit bigger display and a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.
Huawei P40 Lite's memory to store more apps and games is very similar to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro one, they have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro features greater battery duration than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4200mAh.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro counts with a slightly better camera than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not so good for low-light photography and video, it also counts with a more megapixels camera, a much bigger back-facing camera sensor taking lot better quality pictures and videos and a way better video definition.
