The Motorola Edge (2024) is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, having a 78.5 score against 75.7. Both phones in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Motorola Edge (2024) has a more recent 14 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has Android 12 version, so it provides a couple nice extra features. The Motorola Edge (2024) is a newer and just a little lighter phone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, but it is also a bit thicker.
Motorola Edge (2024) features a little better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Motorola Edge (2024) also has a greater amount of RAM. Motorola Edge (2024) has a little bit better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 1080 x 2400 resolution, the Motorola Edge (2024) also counts with a little bit more pixels per inch of display and more display brightness.
The Motorola Edge (2024) has a lot bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, because it has 256 GB internal storage. The Motorola Edge (2024)'s battery life is just as good as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro one. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro counts with a much better camera than Motorola Edge (2024), although it has a smaller camera sensor and a smaller camera aperture which is not so good for low light photos and videos, they both have the same (4K) video quality, a camera in the back with a 50 mega pixels and the same video frame rates.
