The Motorola Edge 40 has a general score of 77.2, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro's score of 75.7. Both phones in this review include Android OS (Operating System), but Motorola Edge 40 has the newer 13 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has Android 12. Although Motorola Edge 40 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro were released with only 6 months difference, Motorola Edge 40 is lighter and a bit thinner.
Motorola Edge 40 counts with a bit more powerful processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
