The OnePlus 8 Pro is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, having a global score of 77.2 against 75.7. Even being the best cellphone in this comparison review, it must be noted that it is also a much older, just a little bit heavier and a little bit thicker cellphone. OnePlus 8 Pro has a lot better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, and although they both have the same number of cores, the OnePlus 8 Pro also has more RAM memory.
OnePlus 8 Pro counts with a much better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, because it has a higher screen density, a brighter display, a little larger screen and a higher 1440 x 3168px resolution. The OnePlus 8 Pro counts with as much storage to install games and applications as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage.
OnePlus 8 Pro shoots just a bit better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 video definition and a back facing camera with a lower 48 MP resolution, it also counts with a larger back camera sensor taking higher quality photographs and videos and a bigger aperture for better images in low light situations.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has just a little bit longer battery lifetime than OnePlus 8 Pro, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4510mAh.
