Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A42 is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, having an 87 score against 75.7. These phones come with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy A42 has the older 11 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has Android 12 version. Although it's the best phone we compare here, we must highlight that it is also an older, a bit heavier and just a bit thicker phone.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro counts with a lot better looking screen than Galaxy A42, because it has a bit bigger screen, more pixels per display inch and a much better 1080 x 2400 resolution. Galaxy A42 counts with much more memory capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Galaxy A42 also has a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 1000 GB.
Samsung Galaxy A42 counts with a much better performing CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 cpu cores. Samsung Galaxy A42 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro feature similar batteries performance. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro takes just a bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy A42, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro also counts with a more MP back facing camera.
