Comparison review
Galaxy M40 has an overall score of 85, which is better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro's score of 75.7. Both of these phones use Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy M40 has the older 10 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has Android 12 version. Galaxy M40 is a somewhat lighter device than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, but they have the same thickness.
The Galaxy M40 counts with a very superior hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro. They have a Octa-Core CPU and 6 GB of RAM memory. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has a little sharper screen than Galaxy M40, because although it has a quite worse pixel count in each screen inch, it also counts with a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a little bit bigger display.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has just a bit better camera than Galaxy M40, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not recommended for taking pictures and video in low light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro also counts with a back-facing camera with a lot better 50 megapixels resolution and a lot bigger sensor.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro features a superior battery lifetime than Galaxy M40, because it has a 43% greater battery capacity.
