The Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a score of 83, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro's 75.7 global score. Both of these devices work with Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has Android 12 version, providing the user a lot of extra features. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 construction is much older, a bit thicker and just a bit heavier than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro.
Galaxy Note8 counts with a screen that is very similar to the screen in Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, because although the Galaxy Note8 has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a greater pixels count per inch of screen and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2960px. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro features a superior battery duration than Galaxy Note8, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro features a way better camera than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for capturing pictures in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro also counts with a lot better resolution back-facing camera and a lot bigger camera sensor which provides a way better image and video quality.
