The Xperia 10 II is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, having a global score of 78.5 against 75.7. Both phones in this review work with Android OS, but the Xperia 10 II has an older 10 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has Android 12. The Xperia 10 II is a notably older and just a little thicker phone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, but Sony could make it lighter anyway.
The Xperia 10 II counts with a much greater performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 cores. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has a little sharper screen than Xperia 10 II, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a quite worse number of pixels per display inch, it also counts with a little bit bigger display.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro takes a lot better videos and photos than Xperia 10 II, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro also has a way larger sensor shooting much better quality photos, a bigger aperture and a camera with lot more megapixels.
Sony Xperia 10 II has a much better storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Sony Xperia 10 II also has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 1000 GB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has a way better battery lifetime than Xperia 10 II, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 3600mAh.
