Comparison review
The TCL 20 Pro 5G has a general score of 76.1, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro's general score of 75.7. These phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but the TCL 20 Pro 5G has the older 11 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has Android 12. Even though the TCL 20 Pro 5G is a better phone than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, it must be noted that it's also an older, thicker and just a little heavier phone.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro counts with a little more vivid display than TCL 20 Pro 5G. Both of them have a same size screen, the same exact 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a greater amount of pixels per screen inch. TCL 20 Pro 5G has a really superior performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro. They have the same RAM amount and a Octa-Core processing unit.
TCL 20 Pro 5G features a lot bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 1 TB and 256 GB internal storage. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro takes just a bit better photos and videos than TCL 20 Pro 5G, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for low-light photos, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro also counts with a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor which provides a much higher image and video quality and a back facing camera with a better resolution.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro features just a bit longer battery duration than TCL 20 Pro 5G, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity against 4500mAh.
