The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, getting an 82.3 score against 75.7. Even being the best cellphone in this review, we must note that it's also older, a little bit heavier and somewhat thicker. Both of these phones use Android operating system, but the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 has older 10 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has Android 12.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro counts with a bit more vivid display than Xiaomi Black Shark 2, because although it has a little lower amount of pixels per inch of screen, it also counts with a way brighter display, a little higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a little larger display. Xiaomi Black Shark 2 counts with an extremely better CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro takes clearer pictures and videos than Xiaomi Black Shark 2, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for shooting images and videos in low-light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same video frame rate, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro also counts with a much bigger sensor and a camera in the back with a better resolution.
Xiaomi Black Shark 2 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro feature extremely similar memory for applications and games, both of them have equal internal memory. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro features greater battery lifetime than Xiaomi Black Shark 2, because it has a 5000mAh battery size.
