Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus is a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, getting a general score of 78.1 against 75.7. Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus is a somewhat lighter phone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, but both have the same thickness. Both of these phones work with Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has a more recent 6.0 Marshmallow version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has Android 12 version, so it counts with a couple additional features and increased performance.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro features just a bit better looking display than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because it has much more brightness, a larger screen, a quite better pixels number per display inch and a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has a really superior processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, although it has 4 less cores , they both have a 6 GB RAM.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro counts with a much better camera than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro also has a bigger aperture to capture better low light photos and video, a way larger back camera sensor capturing way better quality videos and photos and a back facing camera with a lot better resolution.
