Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite is a little bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, getting a 77.7 score against 75.7. Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite is a just a little lighter and just a bit thinner device than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro. Both of these devices include Android operating system, but Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has a newer 8.1 Oreo version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has Android 12, so it gives a couple nice extra features.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has a slightly better looking display than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because although it has a bit lower quantity of pixels per screen inch, it also counts with a bit higher 1080 x 2400 resolution and a little bigger display. The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite counts with as much memory capacity to install applications and games as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro one, both have exactly the same internal storage capacity.
Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite features an extremely better processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro. They have the same number of cores and 6 GB of RAM memory. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has a way better battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has a much better camera than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, and although they both have a F1.9 diafragm aperture, the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro also has a lot bigger camera sensor taking way higher quality videos and photographs and a camera in the back with way more mega-pixels.
