Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has a score of 81.4, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro's 75.7 overall score. Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is an noticeably older device than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, but it is just a little bit thinner and lighter anyway. Both phones in this comparison work with Android OS, but the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has newer 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has Android 12 version, offering a couple additional features.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE and Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro have really similar screens, because although the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has a quite smaller screen, much lower brightness and a quite lower 1080 x 2340 resolution, it also counts with a little bit higher number of pixels per display inch. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro takes a bit better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for low-light photos, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro also counts with a way bigger back-facing camera sensor and a camera in the back with more MP.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro and Xiaomi Mi 9 SE count with incredibly similar storage to store more games and applications, both have the same internal memory capacity. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro counts with a superior battery life than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3070mAh.
