The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, having a 76 score against 75.7. Both phones we compare here have Android operating system, but Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has a more recent 6.0 Marshmallow version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has Android 12, offering lots of additional features and some performance improvements. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro takes much better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro also has a lot larger sensor, a back camera with a way higher 50 mega-pixels resolution and a bigger camera aperture to take better captures in low-light situations.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has improved battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
