Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, getting a score of 79 against 75.7. Both of these phones include Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has older 11 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has Android 12 version. Even being the best in this comparison, we must tell that it is also an a lot older, somewhat thicker and heavier device.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features a much powerful CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, although it has 2 GB lesser RAM, they both have the same number of cores. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro counts with just a bit better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S. Both have a screen of the same size, the same amount of pixels in each inch in the display and the same exact resolution of 1080 x 2400px.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro also counts with a more mega-pixels back camera and a lot larger back camera sensor providing a much higher image quality.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features a quite bigger memory to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that supports up to 512 GB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S both feature similar batteries, although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also has 5020mAh of battery capacity.
