The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has a score of 81.4, which is better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G's overall score of 71.6. Both devices in this review come with Android OS, but the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G has Android 14, so it offers a couple nice extra features and some performance improvements.
Xiaomi Mi 9 SE features a much more vibrant screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G, although it has much less brightness and a quite smaller screen. The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE counts with a way better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G, although it has 2 GB lesser RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G features a much better storage for applications and games than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, because it has 256 GB internal memory. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G has a way better battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, because it has 5110mAh of battery capacity against 3070mAh. Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G features a much better camera than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G also has a larger camera aperture, a way bigger camera sensor taking way higher quality videos and pictures and a camera in the back with way more mega-pixels.
