The Samsung Galaxy Note II is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2, with a score of 71.9 against 65.6. Even being the best in this review, we must note that it's also an a lot older, somewhat thicker and heavier device. Both devices we compare here include Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Note II has older 4.1 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 has Android 5.0.
The Samsung Galaxy Note II has a bit more powerful processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 2, and although they both have a 2 GB RAM memory, the Samsung Galaxy Note II also has a higher number of cores and an extra GPU. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 has a little bit better display than Samsung Galaxy Note II, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 also has a way better number of pixels per inch of display and a much higher resolution of 1920 x 1080px.
The Galaxy Note II counts with a slightly better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 2, although it has less internal memory. Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 captures much clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy Note II, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 also has a back facing camera with a lot higher resolution.
The Galaxy Note II counts with just a bit better battery duration than Xiaomi Redmi Note 2, because it has a 3100mAh battery capacity instead of 3060mAh.
Galaxy Note II not only is the best devices in our current comparison, but it's also cheap compared to the other phone.
