The iPhone 12 has a general score of 88.7, which is better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4's overall score of 74.1. The iPhone 12 is a newer device, and it's also somewhat thinner and a little lighter than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. The iPhone 12 comes with iOS 15.x OS, and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 works with Android 7.0 Nougat OS.
The Apple iPhone 12 has a sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, because it has a just a bit better pixel density, much more brightness, a quite bigger display and a better resolution of 1170 x 2532px. IPhone 12 features a better processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, because although it has a lower number of cores (although faster), and they both have a 4 GB RAM, the iPhone 12 also counts with a 64-bits processor.

If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, letting go a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your budget.
