Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro has an overall score of 78.7, which is slightly better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4's global score of 74.1. Huawei Mate 9 Pro's body is a little bit thinner but a bit heavier than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, and both of them were only released with a couple months difference. Both of these phones work with Android operating system, but the Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a newer 8.0 Oreo version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has Android 7.0 Nougat version, giving a couple nice extra features.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a slightly better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, and although they both have a same size screen, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro also has a better pixel density and a better resolution of 1440 x 2560px. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a bit more storage for apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro has just a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro also has more RAM memory. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, because although it has a smaller aperture and a lesser megapixels resolution camera in the back, it also counts with a much higher 3840x2160 video definition.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has a bit better battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a 4100mAh battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
Although Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, resigning some features and specs.
