Comparison review
LG G5 has a score of 76.1, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4's overall score of 74.1. The LG G5 is an older phone than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, but LG made it just a little lighter and somewhat thinner. Both devices in this review come with Android operating system, but LG G5 has 8.0 Oreo version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has Android 7.0 Nougat, providing the user some nice extra features and performance improvements.
The LG G5 features a slightly better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 2560 resolution and a greater pixel density. LG G5 has a way bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has a bit faster CPU than LG G5, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 also has more processing cores. LG G5 counts with a superior camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, because it has a back-facing camera with a higher 16 megapixels resolution, a way higher 3840x2160 video quality and a larger aperture.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has a much longer battery life than LG G5, because it has a 46% more battery capacity.
Although LG G5 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the LG G5, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, resigning some specs and features.
