LG G8S ThinQ has a global score of 82.5, which is much better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4's 74.1 score. LG G8S ThinQ is a noticeably newer and a little bit thinner cellphone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, although it is also just a bit heavier. Both phones in this review use Android OS (Operating System), but the LG G8S ThinQ has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has Android 7.0 Nougat, giving a lot of extra features.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 counts with a bit better looking screen than LG G8S ThinQ, although it has a little bit worse screen pixels density, a bit lower 1080 x 1920 resolution and a bit smaller screen. LG G8S ThinQ features a little faster processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, and although they both have the same number of cores, the LG G8S ThinQ also has more RAM.
The LG G8S ThinQ features a little bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, because although it has a back facing camera with lesser megapixels, it also counts with a bigger aperture and a lot better (4K) video resolution. The LG G8S ThinQ counts with a much better storage capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, because it has a SD extension slot that admits up to 1,95 TB and 128 GB internal storage capacity.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has a bit superior battery lifetime than LG G8S ThinQ, because it has a 4100mAh battery capacity instead of 3550mAh.
