Comparison review
Galaxy Alpha is a little bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, having a 76.3 score against 74.1. These devices use Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Alpha has 4.4.4 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has Android 7.0 Nougat version. Galaxy Alpha's body is noticeably lighter and a lot thinner than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4.
The Samsung Galaxy Alpha counts with a bit better processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, because although it has an inferior number of cores and less RAM, it also counts with an additional graphics processing unit. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 and Galaxy Alpha have quite similar displays, although the Galaxy Alpha has a much lower resolution of 1280 x 720px, a little bit lower screen pixel density and a little smaller screen.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 features a much greater memory to install applications and games than Galaxy Alpha, because it has 32 GB more internal memory and a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 128 GB. Galaxy Alpha captures slightly better photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, because although it has a lesser mega-pixels back camera and a smaller diafragm aperture which is worse for shooting images and videos in low light environments, it also counts with a much higher video definition.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has a really longer battery performance than Galaxy Alpha, because it has 4100mAh of battery capacity against 1860mAh.
Although Galaxy Alpha is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, and give up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your budget.
